摘要 <p>Fine particles (1) of an electrically conductive material such as platinum black are precipitated on the surface of an electrically conductive material such as platinum and are immersed in a solution of a biofunctional material such as an enzyme or the solution is applied to the fine particles (1) for impregnation. Next, a bio-element is prepared by directly cross-linking the biofunctional materials (2) with one another or by forming a thin polymer film (3) on the surface of the fine particles (1) of the electrically conductive material. This bio-element is compact in size and moreover, since the apparent surface area of the fine particles (1) of the electrically conductive material is large and a considerable amount of the biofunctional material (2) is contained and immobilized in the electrically conductive fine particles (1), the intended component can be measured quickly and with high sensitivity by use of a trace amount of sample.</p>
