Electronic balance with analog and digital display

For an electronic balance with a digital display for the accurate display of the weighing result, with an analog display for rough display of the balance loading, the analog display consisting of a horizontal band of dots (7) which can be activated, and with a taring possibility, it is proposed to arrange, directly above or directly below the horizontal band of dots (7) which can be activated, further segments (8, 10) which can be activated and with which, at a large number of points along the horizontal band, a "T" symbol (9) can be activated, and, on taring, to activate the "T" symbol at the point which corresponds to the tare weight on the horizontal band (7) of the analog display. By these means, the point at which taring has been carried out can be displayed in a simple manner. The further segments (8, 10') can advantageously also be used for scaling the analog display.
