According to VDE 160, clause 4.5.1.c, the opening of the covering of a housing with inbuilt electrical operating means is possible only by a tool, for example a screwdriver. When using tensioning levers (SH) as a quick-acting closure for fastening the covering, additional arresting means, such as screws, split-pins or locks, are known. However, these have to be mounted in a separate procedure when closing the covering. According to the invention, a securing plate (SB), composed of two flaps (L) covering the lateral engagement surfaces (AF) of the closed tensioning lever (SH) and spaced apart by a distance corresponding to the width of said tensioning lever (SH) and of a covering lug (AL) between the flaps (L), is arranged in front of the end of the closed tensioning lever (SH), as an adapted sheathing around the tensioning lever (SH). Said tensioning lever (SH) can thus be closed by finger pressure, but the flaps (L) and the covering lug (AL) prevent firm access to the side surfaces of the lever, which is subjected to spring stressing. Opening can only now take place by the insertion of a screwdriver into a gap between the tensioning lever (SH) and the flaps (L) and/or the covering lugs (AL). <IMAGE>
