A circuit for reducing noise, wherein a video signal (SI) is passed through a filter (10) for blocking low frequencies and a limiter (11) to provide a signal (SH2); this signal (SH2) is further passed through a field or frame delay circuit (5) to provide a signal (SH21); and the difference signal (SH2-SH21) between the two signals is subtracted from the video signal (SI). The circuit can be used for TV receivers and the like to prevent degradation of picture quality. |
