PURPOSE:To grasp the contents of an operation at hand by operating by a remote control transmitter and displaying the contents of a command on the transmitter when it is recognized that a main body receives and operates. CONSTITUTION:In the remote control transmitter 1, the emitted electric wave of a transmission antenna 13 is received in an antenna 14 and supplied to a receiving circuit 15. The receiving circuit 15 reads the code of the received electric wave to transfer to a display circuit 16 and light and display a channel number indicated by the code by a display element 17. Accordingly, there is no troublesome channel number display on the screen 11 of the main body 3 and an easily viewed channel number is displayed at hand. An ultrasonic may be used in place of the electric wave and an ultrasonic oscillator may be used in place of the antenna.
