PURPOSE:To prevent a front core from being cracked by providing a center core to which winding is performed, and the front core provided together on both sides, and forming the inside area of a magnetic tape running surface side surrounded by them, as a cavity part. CONSTITUTION:The inside tip part of a head side against a magnetic tape running surface 9 is packed with low melting point glass 10, and also a cavity part 12 into which an adhesive agent does not go is provided on the inside area surrounded by the back of the glass 10, a winding 5, a center core 6 and a front core 7. Therefore, there is no generation problem of a crack of the front core 7 due to a hardening contraction stress of the adhesive agent. Accordingly, there is no room for generating a variation of a magnetic circuit characteristic due to a fact that the front core 7 is cracked, a variation of an impedance characteristic, a drop of efficiency, etc., and a head having a high efficiency and a high performance can be realized. |
