PURPOSE:To suppress an unnecessary message by specifying a message output level in each on-line processing system unit, making it possible to change the output level of a previously fixed message unit and allowing an emergency message to interrupt other message output. CONSTITUTION:Message output level (MOL) is ranked by a message output level instructing means 1 in accordance with the degree of importance of its message and the MOL in each system unit is stored in a system unit message output level storing area 3 through an entering means 2. A message output instructing means 4 instructs the output of a message to be transmitted from an on-line processing system 20 to an operator. When an instruction input means 9 requests the change of an existing MOL to a message output level changing means 8, the MOL of the changed message unit is stored in a message unit message output level storing area 7. A message output determining means 5 compares the output levels of the instructing means 4 and storing means 3, 7, determines the most important message and commands an output means 10 through a message output requesting means 6. Consequently, unnecessary or unemergency messages are suppressed and an important message can be prevented from being failed to notice. |
