PURPOSE:To obtain the titled adhesive with outstanding adhesivity to adherends of high water content, useful in the frozen food industry in particular, by blending a specific acrylic ester copolymer and polyethylene glycol with specified molecular weight. CONSTITUTION:The objective adhesive can be obtained by blending (A) 100pts. wt. of an acrylic ester copolymer prepared by emulsion polymerization between (i) 60-99.8pts.wt. of a 4-12C alkyl group-carrying (meth)acrylic ester (e.g., 2-ethylhexyl acrylate) (ii) 0.2-10pts.wt. of a polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid (e.g., acrylic acid), and (iii) 0-39.8pts.wt. of another copolymerizable vinyl monomer (e.g., methyl acrylate) and (B) 5-45pts.wt. of polyethylene glycol with an average molecular weight 180-1,100.
