PURPOSE:To permit the carry-out of great amounts of soil to the ground's surface by providing a compressed air chamber to be a soil trap near a working chamber with compressed air and also providing a soil feeder and an air compressor for the soil trap. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that the gate 7g of the first compressed air chamber A is closed, soil (g) in a working chamber S is charged by a grab bucket 9 into a soil hopper 7. The gate 6g of the second compressed air chamber B is closed, the inside of the chamber B is pressurized to the same atm. as the chamber A, and the gate 7g is opened to carry soil in the hopper 7 to the chamber B by a screw conveyer 8. The gate 7g of the hopper 7 is then closed, the gate 6g of the chamber B is opened, and soil is carried out to the ground's surface by a clamshell 12. Large amounts of soil can thus be carried out to the ground's surface from the compressed air chamber.
