PURPOSE:To enlarge a non-linear performance exponent by providing a dielectric film having a large non-linear effect on an output electrode part, at the time of providing plural input electrodes for exciting a surface acoustic wave signal, and an output electrode for fetching a convolution signal of the excited signal by utilizing a non-linear effect of a substrate, on a piezoelectric material sub strate. CONSTITUTION:On a piezoelectric material substrate 1 consisting of Y cut (Z propagation) lithium niobate, interdigital electrodes 4, 5 for converting an electric signal to an acoustic signal are formed, and a dielectric film 2 of 2- methyl-4-nitroaniline, etc., which is positioned between these electrodes and has a larger non-linear effect than that of the substrate 1, and it is covered with an output electrode 3. Subsequently, on both sides of the film 2, ground electrodes 6 are provided at an interval, and used as surface acoustic wave convolvers. By such a constitution, two signals of a carrier-frequency omega are inputted to the electrodes 4, 5, respectively, and from the output electrode 3, a convolution signal of a carrier-frequency 2omega is outputted.
