PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive recording head of an electrothrmorecording system imparting high grade printing quality and generating no deterioration, by a method wherein a fine line pattern composed of ink containing tungsten as a main component is formed on a forsterite substrate by printing and a coating film composed of a forsterite composition is formed so as to cover said pattern to be baked in a reductive atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing a recording head, for example, a non-sintered green sheet A wherein a sintering aid, an org. binder, a dispersant and a plasticizer are mixed with a synthetic forsterite powder based on magnesium oxide and silicon dioxide or a forsterite substrate B prepared by sintering said sheet A in an oxidative atmosphere is formed. Next, a fine line pattern is applied to the substrate A or B using ultraviolet ray curable tungsten ink having a tungsten powder, ultraviolet curable resin varnish and, if necessary, a volatile solvent added thereto by intaglio offset printing. Next, the fine line pattern is irradiated with a sufficient quantity of light for several-10 sec using an ultraviolet ray irradiation apparatus. By this method, a so-called ink fixing state generating no flow centering around a surface layer can be formed and the highly precise fine line pattern is obtained. |
