PURPOSE:To perform the automatic recovery of a voice mail device, by performing the recovery operation of a terminal equipment on one side after completing a call between the terminal equipments, reading a bit of disconnection information from second storage means when an opposite terminal is the voice mail device by retrieving first storage means, and sending it to the voice mail device. CONSTITUTION:In the call between the terminals, it is judged that the opposite terminal equipment is the one of the voice mail devices 5a-5m by retrieving the first storage means MB1, and when it is the one of the voice mail devices 5a-5m, the bit of disconnection information is read from the second storage means MB2, and is sent to the voice mail devices 5a-5m. In such a way, when outgoing is issued from a telephone system to the voice mail device, and the telephone system on an outgoing side is recovered without sending the bit of disconnection information after completing the call, it is also possible to perform the recovering processing of the voice mail device automatically.
