PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of power source energy, by proportionating a current which flows on the collector of a transistor to a base current, and operating the switching operation of the transistor in a non-saturated area. CONSTITUTION:A voltage between the collector and the emitter of the transistor 1 is increased by a diode group Da consisting of a prescribed number of diodes being connected to the base of the transistor 1 in a forward direction, and the transistor is operated in the non-saturated area. However, a collector current is detected by a winding N2, and the value of n2/n1 of respective winding n2 and n1 of the winding N2 and a winding N1 is permitted to flow on the winding N1, then, the base current is limited. Also, since the base current of the transistor 1 is driven by a transformer 2 by proportionating to the collector current, the base is decreased when the collector current is decreased. In such a way, since no unrequired large magnitude of current flows, it is possible to improve the energy efficiency of a power source.
