<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of image diagnosis by finding out cumulative frequency distribution defining the number of picture elements in image data as its frequency, finding out cumulative density distribution on the basis of the cumulative frequency distribution, calculating a window function and storing the calculated value in a memory. CONSTITUTION:A digital image display device is constituted of a CPU 1, an internal memory 2, a magnetic disk 3, a floppy disk 4, an image memory 5, a rapid image processing part 6, a window table memory 7, a display memory 8, an image display device 9, and a console 10. In case of displaying digital image data stored in the image memory 5 on the display device 9, the cumula tive frequency distribution defining the number of picture elements in the image data value as the frequency is found out. Then, the distribution is normalized to find out the cumulative density distribution and the cumulative density distri bution is approximated to find out a window function. Then, the transfer or the like of the image data to the memory 8 is executed and the image data are displayed on the display device 9 by the reference or the like of the window function.</p> |
