<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a heat generating driving circuit capable of using a small capacity power source and developing no group line, by controlling a drive part so that thermal transfer recording data is supplied to each memory region of a memory apparatus and (n) groups, each of which composed of N/n elements every other (n-1) pieces of elements on the basis of n-pieces of adjacent elements among N-pieces of elements, are successively selected one at a time so as to be shifted by one heat generating element in the same direction and data is supplied to the selected group. CONSTITUTION:A heat generating driving circuit is equipped with heat generating elements I0-I511, gates 20-2511, latches 4, shift registers 4 and a control part 5 and gates are connected to one enable signal wire every other three to divide N-pieces of heat generating elements into groups each composed of N/n-pieces of elements. When enable signals ENI-ENIV are supplied from a pulse distributing circuit 6 so as to be shifted stepwise, the element group is selected corresponding to each signal and the element group driven corresponding to the content of each latch 3 is continuously shifted to the right at every one element. Therefore, the heat generating element lowered in heat generating quantity becomes absent and no group line is generated and the use of a power source having large current capacity becomes unnecessary.</p> |
