PURPOSE:To lighten the liability of switches, having excellent high repetition performance by mounting a plural pair of inversion capacitors, to which the switches are connected in parallel, in addition to a main capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A main capacitor C0 is set up between a charging power 1 and one end of a low voltage side winding for a pulse transformer 11, and a plural pair of inversion capacitors C01-C03 are connected in parallel between the charging power 1 and the other end of the low voltage side winding for the pulse transformer 11. Switches SW1-SW3 are connected in parallel with each pair of the inversion capacitors C01-C03 respectively, and loop circuits are formed among separate inversion capacitor and the switches. Half voltage required for turning a saturable reactor 19 for a magnetic pulse compression circuit ON is applied to each capacitor, and each pair of the switches SW1-SW3 control only voltage and currents applied to the inversion capacitors C01-C03 while each pair of the switches are made and broken in succession. Accordingly, the liability of the switches is lightened, and excellent high repetitiveness is enabled. |
