PURPOSE:To produce a polyurethane foam having high-frequency, fusibility and stiffness, by impregnating a polyurethane foam sheet with an aqueous emulsion of a copolymer of polyvinyl chloride resin and acrylic resin and drying the impregnated sheet while heating. CONSTITUTION:(A) A polyurethane foam sheet is impregnated with (B) an aqueous emulsion (40-60% solid content) of a copolymer of polyvinyl chloride resin and acrylic resin at 1:0.6-1:1.5 ratio of the polyvinyl chloride resin: acrylic resin having preferably <=800cP/25 deg.C viscosity [the amount of the impregnated component (B) is 1.5-4 times of the composition (A) expressed in terms of the resin] and then dried while being heated. Thereby the aimed high-frequency fusible polyurethane foam having sufficient heat fusibility and stiffness without problems caused by evaporation of plasticizers is produced.
