PURPOSE:To prevent a filler tube from making contact with a bracket so as to prevent damage thereof even though the filler tube is deformed, by decreasing the outer diameter of the filler tube in the part in the vicinity of the upper end edge of a mouth ring provided on the bracket. CONSTITUTION:A resin filler tube 11 has, at its lower end, a flange 11A which is covered with a bracket 15 provided with a mouth ring. Further, the resin filler tube 11 is fastened to the edge 12A of an opening in a fuel tank 12 by means of bolts 16 through the intermediary the bracket 16 provided with the mouth ring. In this arrangement, the filler tube 11 is formed therein with a constricted part 11B with the o.d. contracted in the vicinity of the the upper end edge part 15A of the mouth ring of the bracket 15. With this arrangement, even though the resin filler tube 11 is inclined and deformed due to a bump or the like of a vehicle, the filler tube is prevented from contacting the bracket 15 provided with the mouth ring so as to prevent damage thereof.
