PURPOSE:To efficiently store a prescribed part of image data in a memory by forming a leading address specification part and a byte number specification part to control the input image data. CONSTITUTION:A leading address of a data area 22 in the memory 2 for storing image data is specified by the leading address specification part and the number of bytes to be the storing unit of the input image data is specified by the byte number specification part 12. The continuously inputted image data of the initial specified number of bytes are successively written in the data area 22 of the memory 2 from the leading address. After ending the initial writing, the image data of the succeeding specified number of bytes are rewritten on the initially stored data from the same leading address. Consequently, the initial data are erased and the data successively written are stored. Thus, the data of each specified number of bytes are successively and superposedly written in the data area. |
