The invention relates to a method for weighing of material arriving continuously and being supplied to a conveyor element continuously running over pulleys, the supply of material to the conveyor element being temporarily interrupted and the material present on the conveyor element being weighed during the interruption of the supply of material before the material during the continuous movement of the conveyor element reaches the outfeed end thereof. The material arriving continuously is supplied to the conveyor element via a receptacle with a closeable outlet for collecting the material during the temporary interruption of the supply of material. The weighing operation is carried out by means of load cells supporting the conveyor element, and the admittance of the measuring signals from the load cells is co-ordinated via a control and calculating unit with the interruption of the supply of material to the transport member. |
