发明名称 HIGHLY REPETITIVE PULSE LASER POWER CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce inductance at the time of saturation by using a small-sized saturable reactor having low saturation voltage as a saturable reactor employed to a magnetic pulse compression circuit (an MPC circuit). CONSTITUTION:A laser discharge section 22 has a main electrode D2, and a spare electrode D1 and a peaking capacitor C3 are mounted in parallel with the laser discharge section, but the peaking capacitor C3 corresponds to a first balancing capacitor. On the other hand, a trigger capacitor C1 and a balancing capacitor C2 are connected in series in place of conventional capacitors, and a reactor L1 is connected in parallel with the trigger capacitor C1. An MPC circuit has a charging power B separate from a switch circuit, and the charging power B is connected to the first and second balancing capacitors C2, C3. A saturable reactor operated by the trigger capacitor C1 may be used as the saturable capacitor L1, thus lowering inductance.
