PURPOSE:To enable mounting a mooring stay through simple constitution consisting mainly of a vertical load, by a method wherein the under surface of the projecting end part of a floating body is supported by a rubber resilient body and by a plurality of balls located between a pressure collecting plate and a recessed support plate, and the horizontal force component of the floating body is absorbed. CONSTITUTION:A stay 23 is positioned to a projecting end part 26a of a floating body 26, and the floating body is moored between the upper surface of the stay and the under surface of the projecting end part. A rubber bearing 33, formed such that a number of steel sheets 36 are laminated in a cylindrical rubber resilient member 35, a spring constant in a horizontal direction is set to a low value, and that in an axial direction is set to a high value, is used as a mooring member, which has structure in which a number of balls 30 are located between a pressure collecting plate 31 and a recessed support plate 28 to reduce a horizontal friction force to a low value for support of the force. A horizontal force exerted on the stay is reduced from the floating body, the stay can form simple constitution consisting mainly of a vertical load, and the title device can be installed even in a place deep in water and on a soft ground.
