PURPOSE:To omit a power source for moving a contactor head with contact by pressing the contactor head against an IC card through an elastic member by the moving force of a roller to the IC card. CONSTITUTION:When an IC card K is carried, a stopper 16 starts its movement by the IC card K. Since the contact head 17 is engaged with the stopper 16 and its movement to the carrier side is blocked, the head 17 is not moved and the elastic member 23 is gradually elastically deformed. When the IC card K is carried furthermore and reached to a prescribed position, the stopper 16 is disengaged from the contactor head 17. Consequently, the contactor head 17 is pressed against the IC card K by the exciting force of the elastic member 23.
