PURPOSE:To prevent a deformation of a molded product at a baking temperature after coating, by performing treatment of a polydicyclopentadiene molded product for a bumper at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:A polydicyclopentadiene molded product 5 is held for a minute at 80 deg.C or higher of a temperature in the vicinity of a glass transition tempera ture or a temperature higher than that. Inner stress to be generated on the backside of the molded product 5 is removed by heating at the 80 deg.C or higher. Then dirt of the molded product 5 is removed, onto which paints are applied, the molded product 5 is held on a holding jig 7 for coating and curing through baking is performed at 80 deg.C or higher. As the molded product 5 has been heated once at the temperature of the 80 deg.C or higher, a great deformation of the molded product 5 due to inner stress is not generated even if the curing through baking is performed. |
