PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous satisfaction of high energy density, low self discharge, high charge-and-discharge efficiency, and large cycle life by making a specific secondary battery be operated within a range of 4.5V or less in its final charge voltage and 1.5V or more in its final discharge voltage. CONSTITUTION:A polyaniline group compound, containing 50 mol% or more of a material which is chemically reduced in advance and expressed in a formula I, is used as a positive pole 5, and a lithium metal or its alloy is used as a negative electrode 3. A mixed solvent of propylene carbonate and 1.2- dimethoxyethane is used as a solvent of an electrolytic solution, and a concentration of electrolyte in the electrolytic solution is 3 mol/l or more in the end of charge and 1.5 mol/l or less in the end of discharge. This battery is operated within a range of 4.5 V or less in its final charge voltage and 1.5 V or more in its final discharge voltage. Hence, battery performances such as high energy density, high charge-and-discharge efficiency, large cycle life, small self discharge efficiency, and improved flatness in the voltage during discharge can be obtained. |
