PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble due to the yarn edge of a full bobbin by inserting two separators between bobbin holders from the both sides of the center lines of two bobbins when a yarn is replaced between two bobbins. CONSTITUTION:A full bobbin 5 is replaced with a vacant bobbin 5' by the turn of a turret 6, and a yarn Y is taken up onto the vacant bobbin 5'. In order to prevent the yarn edge E of the full bobbin 5 from being taken up onto the vacant bobbin 5' in replacement, separators 7 and 8 are inserted. The insertion of the separator 8 is started by the operation of a swing cylinder 9 before the yarn edge E is formed, and insertion is completed during the time when the formation of a pig tail into the vacant bobbin 5' is started. Further, the insertion of the separator 7 due to sliding is completed after the insertion of the separator 8 is completed. Therefore, the both bobbins can be shielded before the yarn edge E is formed, and the trouble due to the yarn edge E can be prevented. |
