PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out exchange operation of a mold by contriving miniaturization of the mold by reducing the number of parts of the mold, by making a fitting mechanism of the mold into a specific, detachable structure. CONSTITUTION:A stationary side mold 34 is constituted of a stationary side piece mold 36 where an upper mold surface and casting port 15 of a cavity 2 are formed and a retainer plate 37, and the retainer plate 37 is fixed directly to a stationary die plate 32 with a bolt 38. Then fitting and fixing between the stationary side piece mold 36 and retainer plate 37 are performed by a piece mold fitting claw 39. The piece mold fitting claw 39 is held on the retainer plate 37 by a pin 40 and detachment or exchange of the piece mold 36 is performed easily by moving the piece mold fitting claw 39. Then detachment or exchange of the other movable side mold 35 also with a piece mold 41 is performed easily by a similar structure. Parts such as an adapter plate or a backing plate or a spacer block which has been necessary for the mold in a traditional molding machine become unnecessary and the number of parts can be reduced drastically.
