PURPOSE:To prevent both leak of air and decrease in driving efficiency by providing a space which permits deformation of a seal band in a position of a rodless cylinder facing the seal band. CONSTITUTION:A seal band 6 for cut groove blocking is fixed in the cut groove 2 of a cylinder 1, and along the cut groove 2 a piston table is reciprocated. The outer surface of the seal band 6 is formed in a plane perpendicular to the cut groove 2. Easily bending parts 16 which follow escape grooves 15 and are able to bend therein when they strike the side walls of side grooves 5 are formed on the outer side of both side edge portions facing the back end surfaces 12 of the side groove 5. When pressure is exerted on the inner surface of the seal band 6 with the supply of air, both edge portions of the seal band 6 are pressed against the back end surfaces 12 of the side groove 5 with the easily bending parts 16 being bent to the sides of the escape grooves 15. In this manner both side edges are prevented from projecting from the inner surface of the cylinder 1. |
