PURPOSE:To obtain a compsn. which has improved storage stability and can be rapidly cured in the presence of water, by blending an org. polymer having a hydrolyzable silicon group permolecule with a vinyl polymer. CONSTITUTION:A compsn. consists of 100pts.wt. org. polymer (A) having at least one hydrolyzable silicon group per molecule and 10-500pts.wt. vinyl polymer (B). When the mainchain of the org. polymer is composed of an alkylene oxide polymer, the main chain of the alkylene oxide polymer is composed of a recurring unit of formula -R<1>-O- (wherein R<1> is a 1-8C bivalent hydrocarbon group). The org. polymer (A) composed of at least 50wt.% said recurring unit is preferred. Examples of the vinyl polymer (B) are polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polycarylamide, etc. Polyvinyl chloride having an average degree of polymn. of 200-10,000 is preferred.
