PURPOSE:To enable determination of an alkaline phosphatase (ALP) without being influenced with colored substance in blood, by using a specific aromatic phosphoric acid monoester as a substance for ALP in at least one layer of a plurality of water-permeable layers. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic phosphoric acid monoester of formula [M is H or alkali metal; A is (substituted)phenyl or naphthyl; B is (substituted)phenylene or naphthylene] is used as a component of at least one water-permeable layer of a plurality of water-permeable layers of a dry-type multi-layer analytic element for the determination of ALP activity.
