When the vehicle rear wheels (6) are moving, a cardan is positioned on the rear axle. From the cardan, an intermediary shaft sets the vehicle gearbox in motion. The gearbox has an output shaft which drives the generator or generators charging the batteries providing power for the electric motor positioned in the engine compartment after the conventional internal combustion engine has been removed. - The connection between the gearbox and the generator is by bolting their respective shafts together through a common socket through two holes drilled in the shaft pins. The emerging ends of the bolts are secured by lock nuts, and the socket is provided with double pulleys. |
