PURPOSE:To obtain a totally sufficient high damping performance and obtain a sufficient adhering performance on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of a ring-like vibration isolating rubber to be adhered to inner and outer metal housings. CONSTITUTION:An inner housing 2 is adhered to an inner periphery of a vibration isolating rubber 3, and an outer housing 1 is adhered to an outer periphery of the rubber 3. The vibration isolating rubber 3 has a two-layer structure constructed of an inner member 3a and an outer member 3b. The inner member 3a is formed of a high damping material such as butyl rubber having a damping capacity of 0.2 or more at room temperature. The outer member 3b is formed of an adhesive material such as natural rubber having a degree of unsaturation of 5 mol% or more. Accordingly, an adhesive strength with a high tensile shearing strength may be obtained on both adhering surfaces of the vibration damping rubber 3 and the metal housings 2 and 1. Thus, the vibration damping rubber with the metal housings provides a sufficient high damping performance and can maintain satisfactory adhesion between the surface of the vibration rubber and the metal housing. |
