PURPOSE:To manufacture inexpensively a molded product decorated with an uneven pattern, by a method wherein resin is injected between a sheet decorated with an uneven pattern molded into a form resembling to the molded product mounted within a mold and a base material, and the sheet decorated with the uneven pattern is peeled off after molding. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 5 decorated with an uneven pattern 4 molded into a form resembling to a molded product 1 is mounted on a movable mold 16 and a base material 2 is mounted on a stationary mold 14. Molten resin 3 is injected into a cavity 17 formed between the sheet 5 and base material 2 through a sprue 13. Although the base material 2 and injected molten resin 3 are joined together strongly as both are of polyolefin resin, the sheet 5 does not join with the injected molten resin 3 as the sheet 5 is formed of vinyl chloride resin. When the sheet 5 is peeled off from the injected molten resin body 3 after molding, the uneven pattern 4 is transferred to the surface of the skin composed of the molten resin body 3 and an instrument panel of molded product 1 is formed. |
