Addin. of 2-methylthio-3-methylpyrazine, 2-methylthio-5methylpyrazine or its mixt. to tobacco and cigarette in the amt. of 0.000001-0.0005 wt.% based on tobacco improves tobacco product's taste and flavor. Thus, a soln. of 1 wt.% pyrazine mixt. in ethanol is sprayed on tobacco so that the pyrazine mixt. content of tobacco is 0.00035 wt.%.
