PURPOSE:To correctly display the time and date of issue of an output record, by a method wherein a font pattern selected by a means converting a time and date data signal from a clock means and selecting a font pattern is inputted to a recording means as the information. CONSTITUTION:When a reset switch 7 on an operation pannel 1 is ON, the value inputted from a ten key 4 is registered to a clock IC 8 as time and date data. At this time, the mode is changed over to the time or date by a mode switch 6, and the value inputted from the ten key 4 is registered as a date/time. In the above operation, the date and time data inputted from the ten key 4 is printed on a recording material to be copied, whereby the updatedness of copy, a specific time and date, etc. can be confirmed.
