PURPOSE:To prevent a telephone set from being left in an off-hook state, by giving a warning when an input voice from a microphone is not detected for a prescribed time, and disconnecting a telephone circuit when the warning is not released and further the input voice is not detected for another prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:The titled equipment is constituted of a voice detecting circuit 3 detecting an input voice from a microphone 2, a timer 8 measuring the time when the input voice from the microphone 2 is not detected, a warning part 9 giving a warning when the timer 8 counts a prescribed time, a warning release switch 12 releasing the warning, a line control circuit 6 disconnecting the telephone circuit, and a control part 7 connected to all of them. By the voice detecting circuit 3 and the timer 8, it is detected that a voice is not inputted from the microphone 2 for a prescribed time, therefore, when a telephone set is left in an off-hook state, a warning is given by the warning part 9, thereafter, a telephone circuit is disconnected by the line control circuit 6. In such a way, it is prevented that the telephone set is left in the off-hook state, or it is dialed errorneously by an erroneous recognition caused by a noise input, etc.
