PURPOSE:To effectively obtain an oil pressure required for the engine brake condition by forming the hydraulic control device so that a rotation displacement of one trunnion is inputted to a speed change control valve, whereas a rotation displacement of the other trunnion is inputted to a line pressure governor valve. CONSTITUTION:An extended shaft section 83c of one trunnion is connected to a speed change control valve 150, and an extended shaft section is connected to a line pressure-pressure governor valve 502. To the line pressure governor valve 502 is also inputted a throttle pressure which corresponds to a engine load. Since the line pressure governor valve 502 regulates the line pressure in accordance with the change gear ratio and the throttle pressure, the line pressure required for the hydraulic device can be obtained during normal operation and also under the engine brake condition where the torque-transmission direction reverses. Further, the two trunnions are connected respectively to different valves, so that the layout becomes simple and the valve-casing can be miniaturized.
