PURPOSE:To improve the image density, the resolving power and the sticking property of a toner particle, and to prevent the toner particle from offset by incorporating an olefinic resin having melt-index of 25-700 in the toner particle. CONSTITUTION:The toner particle contains at least the olefinic resin having the melt index of 25-700. The olefinic resin having the melt index of 25-700 has a polar group such as carboxyl, hydroxy, glycidyl or amino group in a molecular chain of polyolefin or a structure partially cross-linked by a cross- linking agent or a radical initiator. Therefore, in case that said resin together with a pigment are used for the toner particle, the toner particle has the good dispersibility. The resin is difficult to suddenly produce the plasticity in a state of dispersing the resin in a solvent or in the fixing step of the dry toner or the wet toner, thereby making the difficult to fuse the toner to a fixing roller. While, the toner increases the fixing property in the state of solidifying the toner by cooling, owing to the high mol.wt. of said resin. |
