PURPOSE:To realize the selection of patterns with input of each name of the patterns by adding different names to these patterns and storing them. CONSTITUTION:A screen of the figure 7 is displayed on a display device in an input stage of the graphic information. Then the figure 8 is displayed on the display device with selection of 'point' by a soft key 6 together with the figure 9 with selection of 'straight line', the figure 10 with selection of 'circle', the figure 11 with selection of 'abbreviation', and the figure 12 with selection of 'name' respectively. The necessary information is supplied to each pattern of those figure 8-12 so that the coordinate positions of display places are secured in the information on each pattern name. The coordinate value is changed by an instruction and the pattern name is displayed on the changed coordinates. Thus it is possible to attain the direct input of information with high efficiency based on the input patterns without using a tablet nor a mouse.
