PURPOSE:To obtain an optical member causing only slight deterioration of transmittance even if a prism having an optical multilayered film formed thereon is bonded to another prism with an ultraviolet rays setting adhesive, by forming a adhesive on an optical multilayered film comprising TiO2. CONSTITUTION:Values of optical film thickness 15 of films comprising TiO2 such as the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 29th layers, are shifted from lambda0/4, and those of other layers are set at lambda0/4. A protective layer 50 comprising Al2O3 is formed above the optical multilayered film 15, and a prism 12 is bonded to a prism 13 interposing an ultraviolet rays setting adhesive 16-a. By providing an Al2O3 layer to a boundary surface between the optical multilayered film and the bonding layer, deterioration of transmittance is prevented even if an optical member is irradiated with ultraviolet rays using an ultraviolet rays setting adhesive on a supporting base.
