PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the heat of hot waste water and to disuse cooling water for the hot waste water, by using the hot waste water discharged from an alcohol refining factory for heating a distillation waste liq. concentrator. CONSTITUTION:A large amt. of hot waste water which has been used for condensing and cooling the alcohol vapor is introduced into the heated waste water jacket 5 on the concentrator 2 for the distillation waste liq. by a hot waste water feed pump 1. The inside of the concentrator 2 is evacuated by a vacuum pump 7, an ejector, etc. The water in the distillation waste liq. is evaporated by the heat of the hot waste water, discharged from a steam outlet 11, condensed in a condenser 4, and then discharged from a condensate outlet 10. Meanwhile, the concd. waste liq. is discharged from a concentrate outlet 3. By such a structure, the hot waste water which has been used for cooling the evaporated alcohol can be effectively utilized for concentrating the distillation waste liq.
