PURPOSE:To attain a high speed majority decision with a simple circuit by allowing each signal generating circuit to generate signals to be inputted to the circuit representing all 0s, the mixture of 0s and 1s or all 1s, adding them and comparing the result with a prescribed threshold level. CONSTITUTION:Inputs 1-6 being binary data a1-a6 are inputted to conversion circuits 7, 8 while forming one pair by every three-data. Outputs beta1, beta2 are signals representing all 0s, the mixture of 0s and 1s or all 1s. They are added by an adder 11 and its output S' is compared with a threshold level C'=2 by a comparator 13 to decide an output alpha', where the relation of a'=0 in the case of S'<=2 and alpha'=1 in the case of S'>2 is designated. Thus, the output of the majority decision is obtained at high speed with a simple constitution.
