PURPOSE:To record a signal by switching alternately two magnetic heads, at least, which are provided as one body and have magnetic gaps different in azimuth angle from each other. CONSTITUTION:When the information signal is recorded spirally, the information signal is supplied to a head switch 11 through a signal input/output terminal 10. The switch 11 supplies the information signal to heads 12 and 13 different in azimuth alternately at prescribed timings. The signal information is recorded on a recording track 41 of the first rotation by the head 12, and the connection of the switch 11 is switched simultaneously with one rotation to supply the information signal to the head 13, and the signal information is recorded on a recording track 42 of the second rotation by the head 13. Heads 12 and 13 are moved by every prescribed extents in accordance with the rotation of a disc 100, and the signal information is so recorded that tracks 41 and 42 are adjacent to each other. |
