PURPOSE:To stably obtain an adequate copied image which has good reproducibility of fine lines and has no fogging on the white ground by changing the set value of a lamp voltage in accordance with a sensible image density and the lamp voltage of an exposing lamp when the sensible image density is measured. CONSTITUTION:The density of an original is detected by an original density detecting means A and the result of the detection is applied to a control means D. On the other hand, the density of the sensible image formed on a photosensitive body is also detected by a sensible image density detecting means B and the result of the detection is applied to the control means D. The control means D changes the set value of the adequate lamp voltage with respect to the original density in accordance with the sensible image density and the value of the lamp voltage when said density is specified. The exposure at the time of reproducing the original image is thus determined by correcting the adequate lamp voltage unequivocally determined according to the original density according to the change in the conditions to apply a fluctuation thereto. The adequate image reproducibility is thereby assured even if the conditions change in any way on the original side and image forming device side. |
