PURPOSE:To enable to respond by an owner with an incoming telephone set and to make the re-dialing by both a caller and a callee unnecessary, by receiving a call signal emitted with a wave of weak power from a signal generation/ transmission means provided on a telephone set at a place separated though nearby, ringing a bell, and informing it to the owner. CONSTITUTION:When the telephone set 20 receives the call signal from a telephone line 10, an incorporated bell is rung, and also, a call signal detecting means 21 detects and confirms the call signal. By confirming the reception of the call signal, the signal generation/transmission means 22 oscillates a prescribed frequency, and forms the transmission wave of the call signal, and transmits a formed wave from an antenna 23. The transmission wave is a weak one from which no radio interference is generated, and it is not received by a portable call bell 30 when separated far away. When the portable call bell 30 receives a signal wave by a signal reception means 32 via an antenna 31 and identifies the call signal, a bell is rung in an audible tone from a loud speaker 34 by driving a bell ringing means 33, and the owner of the portable call bell 30 stops the ringing of the bell manually, and responds with the telephone set 20 in which the bell rings. |
