PURPOSE:To rapidly and continuously produce FRM and to enlarge using sphere of the FRM by supplying molten metal and reinforced fiber between both cooling rolls and casting and drawing reinforced fiber mixed metal from both the cooling rolls. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal 11 is charged in a tundish 3 and poured between both the cooling rolls 1, 2 and also the reinforced fiber of glass fiber, etc., is packed in both tanks 4, 5 and supplied into pouring basin 12 from nozzles 6, 7. The reinforced fiber and the molten metal is uniformly mixed in the pouring basin 12 and cooled, to develop shells on the surfaces of both the cooling rolls 1, 2. The shells are shifted together with rotation of both the cooling rolls 1, 2 and formed to strip-like and drawn. The drawn plate 13 is wound to coil 10 as a strip-like product. By this method, the FRM can be rapidly and continuously produced and the using sphere of the FRM is enlarged. |
