PURPOSE:To attain desired magnetic treating effect always even for a field of use causing great variation of consumption of water such as water for daily use, by maintaining a flow rate of an aq. system in a magnetic field at a value higher than a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic treating apparatus 3 for treating water in an aq. system magnetically by passing the water through a magnetic field 2 generated by a permanent magnet 1 is provided. Further, a float valve is provided to a means 4 for maintaining a specified flow rate to maintain the flow rate of water passing through the magnetic field 2 of the magnetic treating apparatus 3 at above a specified flow rate even if the flow rate of the aq. system is changed. As a result, the degree of magnetic activation of the water is maintained at a fixed degree, and desired magnetic treating effect is exhibited always. By this constitution, scale removing efficiency is elevated, the required for the removal of scale is shortened, and deposition of fresh scale is prevented after once removing previously deposited scale.
