PURPOSE:To eliminate clogging and to optionally change the standard for controlling the diameters of solid particles to be separated, by eccentrically rotating a moving annular plate along with the driving of a spiral body, and setting the control of the particle diameter in accordance with the depth of a fluid outlet passage. CONSTITUTION:The spiral body 9 rotates while pressing the inside diameter surface of the moving annular plate 4 with its peak, and the moving annular plate 4 is eccentrically rotated. As a result, solid-liq. separation and cleaning are simultaneously carried out, clogging is not caused, and a backwashing device and a scraper are not needed. In addition, the control of the diameters of the solid particles to be filtered, namely the sifting of the solid matter to be discharged from a discharge port 3 from fine solid matter to be allowed to flow down from a liq. outflow passage 7, is carried out by the depth of the passage 7, namely the thickness of the spacer plate 5. Accordingly, various interchangeable plates 5 having different thicknesses are prepared, and the standard for controlling the diameters of particles to be filtered can be optionally changed by interchanging the plates.
