PURPOSE:To correctly set a start time of a broadcast time frame or a start time of a program selection signal transmission into the titled receiver by providing a time revision section so as to revise a timer based on the control information included in the program information. CONSTITUTION:The control information (g) separated by a picture signal/control signal separating section 19 is supplied to a control signal decoding section 20, then the section 20 applied error correction/error detection of the signal (g) and decodes the signal (g). The control information from the circuit 20 is fed to a time revision section 24, which calculates the present time based on the information. The time of the timer 23 is revised by feeding the calculated data relating to the present time to the timer 23. Then the timer 23 supplies a prescribed timer output (c) to a channel setting signal output section 25 when the time of start of a broadcast time frame comes.
