<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction in operation ratio by changing a motion angle in upper and lower limiting angles and changing the gains of an integral action element and proportional action element in a limited compensation gain respectively, in the case of a looper action angle detection value exceeding the upper and lower limiting angles. CONSTITUTION:A looper angle upper and lower limits compensation device 23 is provided on the looper control device 30 having a main machine speed control device 1 4 and looper driving motor speed control device 1A. When the detection value theta of a looper angle varies by exceeding the upper limit angle and lower limit angle set in advance, the target value thetaR of the looper angle is changed to the upper limit angle and lower limit angle, the integral gains K11, K12, K21, K22 of blocks 9-12 and proportional gains F1-F6 of blocks 17-22 are changed in upper and lower limits limiting compensation gains as well and returned to the original gain simultaneously with the detection angle thetareturning to the original. Since the breakdown of a looper mechanism and rolling equipment can be prevented the reduction in the operation factor of a rolling mill is prevented.</p> |
